Euro 2020. Serbs hosted rivals in only four cities and suffered last home defeat in 2015

Since 2006, when the Serbian national football team, which is one of the rivals of our national team in the qualification for Euro 2020, appeared on the football map of the world, this team has managed to hold 44 home matches.

The Serbs celebrated success 25 times, 13 matches ended in a draw, and the guests won six matches. Note a few interesting facts. First, the Serbian national team hosted its rivals in only four cities: Belgrade (38 matches), Novi Sad (4), Jagodina (1) and Uzice (1). Secondly, the last home defeat of the Serbs was on October 11, 2015, when in the capital in the qualifying match for Euro 2016 lost to Portugal, which is now a rival of the Balkans in the selection for Euro 2020.

We will add that the Serbia-Ukraine meeting will take place in the final round of the selection campaign. The city that will host this match is still unknown.
