Vasyl Kravets became the 11th Ukrainian to play as part of an elite Spanish club
The national team of Ukraine defender Vasily Kravets, which the other day made his debut in the ranks of "Leganes", became the 11th domestic footballer who played in the club from the elite division of the Spanish championship.
Before him, Vasyl Rat (Espanyol), Serhiy Pogodin (Merida), Dmytro Chygrynsky (Barcelona), Oleksandr Yakovenko (Malaga) played in the elite teams there. Yevhen Konoplyanka ("Sevilla"), Artem Kravets has been playing at Kayserispor ("Granada"), Roman Zozulya ("Betis"), Denys Boyko (Malaga), Maxim Koval (Deportivo) and Andriy Lunin (Leganes).
Interestingly, to date, Ukrainian goalkeepers have conceded 18 goals (11 matches) in elite Spanish clubs, and field players have scored 15 goals (126 matches). It is, of course, about all tournaments.
