Officially. UAF Appeals Committee Rejects Olympics
On June 6, the last meeting of the UAF Appeals Committee took place regarding the case on the applications of FC "Olympic" Donetsk and a number of football players to review the decision of the UAF AC dated November 08.11.2018, XNUMX due to newly discovered circumstances.
Based on the results of the case, the UAF decided to change its decision of November 08.11.2018, XNUMX, reducing the period of prohibition of any activity related to football, football players N. Yedinak, V. Schastlyvtsev, V. Piskov, A. Kozlov, L. Nadiradze and B. Stepanenko, from life to two years. FC "Olympic" Donetsk's petitions to change the sanction of the UA UA club were denied in full.
Thus, the decision to deprive U-21 and U-19 FC FC Donetsk of the right to participate in competitions among U-21 and U-19 teams of the 2019/2020 season under the auspices of the FFU, UPL and PFL remains in force.
This decision may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne.
