Offseason in UPL: Alexandria victories over authorities, Zorya and Carpathian transfers

The first sparring matches and newcomers - we tell you how UPL clubs are preparing for the new one season.

«MINER»

The national champions have started training for the season with a new head coach. The team has already played one training camp in Austria, playing against Bulgarian CSKA (2: 0) and "Ludogorets" (3: 0). Luis Castro gave an opportunity to prove himself in other teams to Valery Bondarenko ("Vitoria Guimaraes") and Eduard Sobol ("Brugge").

«DYNAMO»

After the sparring with Polissya (1: 2), Dynamo Kyiv went to Austria for the training camp, where the team has already played the first sparring match against the Romanian club Botosani (1: 1).

In Austria, the team was joined by two newcomers - wagon Alexander Karavaev and Ghanaian defender Mohammed Kadiri. In addition, Tomasz Kendzora, Fran Sol and Denis Boyko have already returned to training after injuries.

«ALEXANDRIA»

The future member of the Europa League from Ukraine is working on "physics" at a meeting in the Netherlands. There, Vladimir Sharan's team lost to German "Jürdingen" (3: 4), and then defeated the authoritative rivals - Belgian "Anderlecht" (2: 1), Dutch AZ (3: 0) and German "Duisburg" (2: 1).

«VORSKLA»

Vitaliy Kosovsky's team has already played two sparring matches at the training camp in Turkey - against Azerbaijan's Neftchi (3: 2) and Romania's Polytechnic (1: 0). At the same time, the club decided not to continue cooperation with Alexander Kobakhidze, Volodymyr Odaryuk and Vyacheslav Sharpar. 

«STAR»

The new coach of Luhansk Viktor Skrypnyk gets acquainted with the wards in control games. Zorya played twice - against Croatian Hajduk (1: 1) and North Macedonian Shkendija (3: 0).

Oleksandr Karavayev left the team, while the former Dynamo player Mykhailychenko stayed at Zora on a permanent basis. Bohdan signed a four-year contract with the Luhansk club. In addition, the lease agreement with defender Oleksandr Tymchyk was extended. Former Yuriy Vernydub's assistants Igor Fokin, Oleksandr Nogin, Oleksandr Hrytsay, the head of the scientific-analytical group Valery Mykhaylenko, as well as goalkeeper Oleh Chuvayev and defender Vyacheslav Checher left the club.

«Mariupol»

Azov invited to their ranks three world champions among young men - Maxim Chekhov, Viktor Kornienko and Alexei Kashchuk. In addition, Dmytro Topalov came from Shakhtar.

At the training camp in Turkey, the Azov team played against the northern Macedonian "Shkupa" (2: 2), as well as against the Armenian "Banants" (2: 0).

«GUM»

Oleksandr Ryabokon's team was also strengthened by the player of the youth national team of Ukraine, which recently triumphed at the World Cup. Shakhtar defender Yuhym Konoplya joined the Chernihiv team. In addition, defender Arthur Zapadnya (Volyn) became a player of the team.

Desna is preparing for the season in Belarus, where it has already played against Armenian Ararat (0: 0) and local Energetika-BSU (3: 2).

«OLYMPIC»

Donetsk team started preparations for the season on June 28 without Alexey Guy and Vitaliy Koltsov, who left the team.

A few days after the start of training, "Olympic" announced the name of the new head coach, who became the Brazilian Julio Cesar.

On July 4, Olimpik played two sparring matches at once - against Obolon-Brovar (0: 1) and Mykolayiv (5: 0). Ahead of the "Olympians" expects five more opponents.  

«CARPATHIANS»

Lviv is preparing for the new championship at home and played against Veres (2: 0), Minaya (2: 2) and Prykarpattia (3: 0).

Karpaty have already invited three players - Luxembourg defender Marvin Martins, Dynamo defender Vladislav Dubinchak and Shakhtar defender Serhiy Vakulenko. At the same time, Serhiy Myakushko, Artem Fedetsky, Martin Ongla and Maksym Kuchynsky left Karpaty.

«LVIV»

The "townspeople" have already held one meeting and will start the second one on July 5 in Vynnyky. Bohdan Blavatsky's wards have already played two matches - against "Niva" from Ternopil (0: 0) and "Agribusiness" (3: 3).

«DNIPRO-1 »

Dmytro Mykhaylenko's team invited to its ranks several newcomers - world champions from the youth national team of Ukraine Serhiy Bulets and Vladyslav Supryaga (Dynamo), as well as midfielder Alexander Kobakhidze (Vorskla).

Dnipro is preparing for its debut in the UPL in Ukraine and played against Ingulets (1: 1), Hirnyk (1: 2) and Zorya (1: 1).

«Kolos Kovalivka»

On June 29, the players of Kovalivka's Kolos gathered at the training base in Kovalivka, where they started a week-long training camp. On July 3, Kovalivka played the first friendly match against Balkan (2: 0). A total of seven control games are planned for Kovalevtsy.
