Ukraine national team among players with musculoskeletal injuries will play in the semi-finals of the World Cup

Ukrainian players are steadily stepping up to win the World Championship among players with musculoskeletal disorders, which will be hosted by Spanish Sevilla from July 6 to July 19.

In the group stage, our team defeated the national teams of Spain (10: 0), Australia (7: 0) and Argentina (2: 0) and took first place. After that, in the quarterfinals, the Ukrainians defeated the Netherlands (5: 0). Note that the best scorer of the blue-yellow team with nine goals is Vitaliy Romanchuk.

Now our Paralympians are waiting for the semifinal against Brazil, which will take place on Tuesday, July 16. England and Russia will play in the other semifinal. Decisive meetings directly for the medals are scheduled for Friday, July 19.

It should be noted that the national team among players with musculoskeletal disorders has always returned with medals from the last 10 world forums. Including the blue-yellows are the winners of five World Cups and current champions (2001, 2003, 2009, 2013, 2017).
