Andriy Zaporozhan: “We already had to win Dynamo in the cup tournament”

According to experts, among the quarter-finals of the Cup of Ukraine the greatest interest is Kiev, where they will meet Dynamo and Alexandria.

- "Alexandria" has already had to meet with "Dynamo" in the cup tournament, - said the captain of the "citizens" Andriy Zaporozhyan in a comment to the official website of the UAF. - I remember, in 2016, we even forced Kyiv to leave the distance ahead of schedule at the quarterfinal stage. Of course, we are very anxious to repeat that success.

I have heard the opinions of some experts who believe that after Dynamo lagged far behind Shakhtar in the championship, they will now focus on their performance in the cup tournament, where they will try to win the honorary prize. But this does not frighten us, because "Alexandria" also has ambitious plans. Now the main thing is to recover properly after the exhausting first part of the season and how to prepare for new challenges. And it is desirable that in our March quarterfinal confrontation with Dynamo there were no weather cataclysms, and the players had the opportunity to demonstrate all their skills.
