In the last quarterfinal match of the Cup of Ukraine Poltava "Vorskla" defeated Chernihiv "Desna" on away.

Today, as part of the quarterfinals of the tournament, the second duel of two representatives of the elite division took place. Desna, which is seriously fighting for prizes this season, and Vorskla, which will continue to fight in the second six, came together.

The beginning of the match was left for the hosts, Favorov's shot can be noted and Kuzyk's goal was not scored due to an offside combination after a spectacular combination. Towards the middle of the first 45 minutes, Vorskla leveled the game, with several blows by Luisao. Yellow cards were sprinkled before the break.

But the second half of the meeting took place with a clear advantage of Poltava. As a result, Vorskla became the last participant in the semifinals of the Cup of Ukraine. For Poltava, this is the first hit in the top four since 2009.
