The situation with Ukrainian Cup Final-2019/2020 preparation in Ternopil

After a working meeting with the heads of regional associations, which was held in a video conference format, Ukrainian Association of Football president, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko spoke about the preparation for the final match of Ukrainian Cup-2019/2020 in Ternopil.

“We discussed the situation with preparation for the decisive match of Ukrainian Cup with the head of Ternopil Regional Football Association Taras Yuryk, - said Andrii Pavelko. - There are many questions, and today we had the opportunity to consider them all. Ternopil is preparing for the final. It is already clear that it will not take place on May 13. But once we understand that it is possible hold football matches in Ukraine, the UAF Executive Committee will consider a new date of Ukrainian Cup final.

We also want to use the VAR system in both semifinals. At least, we are analyzing this possibility, because in the stadiums in Mariupol and Uzhhorod, to use VAR, you need to do some work. And the fights will have to be held on different days. We are constantly monitoring the situation, in the near future we plan to hold another meeting in the same format and there we will analyze the state of affairs, having new information. "
