A meeting of the UAF Executive Committee was held, as a result of which a decision was made to resume the football season in Ukraine.
Having considered the letter of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 26-04 / 14625 / 2-20 dated 26.05.2020 regarding the approval of the UPL matches and the Ukrainian Cup, the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine № 27 dated 26.05.2020 “On approval of the Interim Recommendations on the organization of anti-epidemic measures during the organization and holding of football matches in Ukraine among professional football clubs under quarantine in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in Ukraine ", draft plan-calendar of UPL and Ukrainian Cup football season-2020 / 2021, approved by the decision of the UPL General Meeting participants from 26.05.2020 (extract from the protocol №126), circular IFAB № 19 from 08.05.2020, decision of the General Meeting of UPL participants from 20.05.2020 (extract from the protocol №125), the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football decided:
- in pursuance of the letter of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 26-04 / 14625 / 2-20 dated 26.05.2020 to agree to hold matches of the Ukrainian Premier League and the Ukrainian Cup with a total number of participants up to 200 people, subject to the recommendations on the organization anti-epidemic measures established Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine № 27 of 26.05.2020;
- to agree on the application of IFAB circular № 19 dated 08.05.2020 in the UPL and Ukrainian Cup in the part "Temporary changes to Rule № 3 of the Rules of the game of football" regarding temporary changes in the procedure of player substitutions.
It should be added that according to plan-calendar the warm-up of the UPL and Ukrainian Cup football matches of the 2020/2021 season, the 24th round of the Premier League will take place on May 30 (base date). The final, 32nd round is scheduled for July 19 (base date), playoff matches for a ticket to the Europa League - on July 25 and 29.
