Weekend for Ukraine players: finish of Lunin and UPL teams

This weekend, the players of the Ukrainian national team playing in the UPL, as well as our only representative of the Spanish championship in the main team of the country, finished their performances in the long-suffering club season 2019/2020.

It still started on Friday, July 17, when in the 37th round of the English Premier League "West Ham" Andriy Yarmolenko beat Watford at home (3:1).

The same day Andriy Lunin helped Oviedo win over Racing (2:1) and fulfill the main task of the championship - to keep a residence permit in the Spanish Segunda.

On Saturday, July 18, in the 34th round of the Italian Serie A "Atalanta" Ruslan Malinovskyi lost points after a draw with "Verona" (1:1).

And in Belgium there was a control derby of football players of the national team of Ukraine in which "Gent" Roman Yaremchuk, Roman Bezus and Ihor Plastun Bruges wins Eduard Sobol (3:2).

On Sunday, July 19, in the last round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Shakhtar parted ways with Oleksandriya on the road (2:2). For the hosts, the full match was played by the team of Yuri Pankiv, and as part of the guests on the field came only two wards of Andriy Shevchenko - Serhii Bolbat and Mykola Matviyenko.

Dynamo lost to Kolos at the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex (0:2). Five football players of the national team of Ukraine played for Kyiv: Artem Shabanov, Oleksandr Karavaev, Volodymyr Shepelyev, Viktor Tsygankov and Vitaliy Buyalskyi.

The restless weekend of the legionnaires of the national team of Ukraine is traditionally followed by a stormy mid-week.

Already today in preparation for the new season "Ghent" Roman Yaremchuk, Roman Bezus and Ihor Plastun will play with the French "Lance" (the meeting starts at 17.00 Kyiv time).

In the penultimate round of the English Premier League "Manchester City" Oleksandr Zinchenko on the road will meet with "Watford" (20.00).

Another Ghent control match is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22. This time the Belgian team of Ukrainians will play against the French "Lyon" (20.45).
