Premier League. Mynai first victory in the top flight, Zorya second defeat in a row, Vorskla gains leadership
On Sunday, three matches of the 2nd round of the Premier League'were played.
The first match in the elite division was played by Mynai, and the Zakarpattya side immediately won. At their stadium, in the presence of spectators, they beat Oleksandriya thanks to a single goal by Anton Shynder. The experienced forward scored a header after a corner.
The whole match for Oleksandriya was played by goalkeeper Pankiv, who was called up for the last training camp of the national team of Ukraine.
Another rather unexpected result was recorded in Zaporizhia. Zorya, which will take part in the Europa League group stage this season, suffered its second defeat at the start of the championship and is still without points. In the match at Slavutych Arena, the rivals created many moments, but the goalkeepers of both teams, Shevchenko from Zorya and Galchuk from Mariupol, acted confidently. Topalov was lucky to score, who responded to Kulakov's pass after the opponents lost the ball in the center of the field and a quick counterattack.
Azov coach Ostap Markevych claimed his first victory in the Premier League.
The "dry" victory of one of the teams was recorded in the third match on Sunday. Vorskla defeated the debutant of the elite division - Ingulets. The first ball was scored by Stepaniuk, who was assisted by Vasin. He consolidated the advantage of Poltava Kane from 11 meters. Yuri Maksimov's team won the championship for the second time and topped the standings.
