A meeting of the UEFA GROW regional office took place in Ivano-Frankivsk

A meeting of the UEFA GROW regional office in Ivano-Frankivsk region took place on September 14 in the conference hall of the Fontush Boutique Hotel in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Present summed up the project UEFA GROW in the region for the period from June 2019 to February 2020 and discussed the goals and objectives of the second year of the project.

First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Football Association Taras Klim and UEFA GROW Regional Project Manager in Ivano-Frankivsk Region Mykola Vasylkiv presented the project officials in the cities and districts of the region with soccer balls for teams participating in the School Football League within the UEFA GROW project, participant certificates and memorable colored booklets.

The UEFA GROW project is a pilot project for the development of grassroots football, initiated and implemented by UEFA in Ukraine. The essence of the project is to promote football on a regular basis, improve education for coaches, professional development opportunities for teachers and volunteers, development of school programs with an emphasis on football among girls, creating a database of project participants (registration of young players in the information and statistical database of the Ukrainian Association football) for further cooperation.

The project concerns amateur, children's and youth, women's, veteran football and football for people with disabilities.
