Andriy Pavelko: "Before Euro 2020, the national team of Ukraine will hold friendly matches with the teams of Bahrain, Northern Ireland and Cyprus"

In the program "Main Team", which aired on the TV channel "Football 1", the president of UAF Andriy Pavelko announced the plans of the national team of Ukraine.

Today, January 19, the live broadcast of the TV channel "Football 1" aired the program "Main team. Christmas results ". The guests were Andriy Pavelko, President of the Ukrainian Football Association, UEFA Executive Committee member, Andriy Shevchenko, head coach of the national team, Ruslan Malinovsky and Oleksandr Zinchenko, players of the Blue and Yellows, and Yevhen Shevchenko, CEO of Carlsberg Ukraine.

The guests and hosts summed up the performances of the national team in 2020 and discussed the events that await the team in 2021. In particular, Andriy Pavelko said that, except for at least 11 official matches, which the blue and yellows will play this year, three friendly matches are already planned. "On May 23, the national team of Ukraine will play against Bahrain, on June 3 - with Northern Ireland and on June 7 - with Cyprus. These sparring matches will take place in different cities of Ukraine and will be part of the Euro 2020 preparation program, ”the UAF President said. 

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian national team will play its first Euro game on June 13 against the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
