Congratulations to the delegates of the XXIV UAF Congress on behalf of FIFA were conveyed by the Director of the FIFA Department for European Associations Nodar Akhalkati.

Dear Andrew! Dear members of the UAF Executive Committee! Dear congress delegates, dear football family of Ukraine!

On behalf of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, with great respect, let me congratulate you and wish you a successful Congress today.

In recent months, the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic has posed challenges and difficulties not only for Ukrainian football, but also for football around the world. FIFA, as the leader of the world football society, was able to respond to this situation by creating a special assistance fund and thus make an additional contribution to the development of Ukrainian football.

Today, the cooperation between FIFA and the Ukrainian Football Association is very close and multifaceted. We would like to highlight your successes in the development of football infrastructure, construction of new football fields and reconstruction of existing ones. Fruitful and very high quality work was done, which brought excellent results and even better prospects for the future.

FIFA is also enthusiastically following the development of our joint ambitious project to build a training center for the national teams of Ukraine. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ukrainian Football Association for the development of women's football and congratulate you on your next steps. We are confident that in the near future you will get an impressive result from your work in this area.

I know that not far from the venue of the congress, the national team of Ukraine under the leadership of Andriy Shevchenko is preparing for Euro 2020. We are used to seeing very interesting, meaningful, modern attacking football performed by your team. I am sure that the whole of Ukraine will be happy with the performance of Andriy Shevchenko's team at Euro 2020.
