News from the camp of the national team of Ukraine: recovery and arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko

The next day after the friendly match against Northern Ireland, the Ukrainian national team recovered.

Returning late after the game to their residence in the Kharkiv hotel "Superior Golf & SPA Resort", the boys had the opportunity to sleep a little longer than usual. After a week-long training cycle, which summed up the match in Dnipro, giving the body a rest is simply vital.

Before lunch, Oleksandr Zinchenko joined the team, who received a few days off after the Champions League final. Sasha arrived at the location of the blue and yellows already in the equipment of the national team, morally and physically ready for an important stage of work in the national team.

In the evening, Zinchenko went to the field of Sonyachnyi for his first training session at the current training camp. It is gratifying that all the players present in the team's camp took part in the training, including Viktor Tsyhankov and Oleksandr Tymchyk, who used to work individually, as well as Eduard Sobol, who successfully passed all medical examinations and can calmly concentrate on preparing for the Euro.

During training, the team worked in different groups: eight players from the starting lineup of the game with Northern Ireland, who spent more than one and a half halves on the field, performed a set of restorative exercises offered by fitness coach Ivan Bashtovyi. Oleksandr Zubkov and Roman Yaremchuk, who played 45 minutes each yesterday, worked a little longer. Having done their job, yesterday's first XNUMX watched the rest of the training, sitting on the podium of Sonyachnyi.

Other teams conducted a moderately intensive training, the purpose of which is to equalize the level of physical activity of the whole team.

After the training, the team had recovery procedures and massage - in the coming days the team will switch to a one-time training regime, gradually moving to the final stage of preparation for the European Championship.
