Andrii Pyatov: Goalkeepers are one hundred percent ready - physically, psychologically and mentally

At a press conference in Bucharest at the Ukrainian Media Center with Andriy Shevchenko took part goalkeeper of the national team Andrii Pyatov.

- You are the most experienced player in the national team of Ukraine, you have already participated in the final stages of major tournaments. How much does this experience help you deal with anxiety, because the team as a whole is quite young now?

- Yes, I am currently the oldest football player of the national team. I can say about the goalkeepers, they are one hundred percent ready - physically, psychologically and mentally. The choice concerning our position will be made by the coach. As for teammates, I can say that everyone was looking forward to this tournament, it was postponed, and now everyone is ready.

- Did you communicate with Mircea Lucescu and Razvan Rat in Bucharest?

- No, I personally did not communicate. Mircea Lucescu has to come to training, I will be glad to see him. As for Razvan Rat - if he passes the negative test, then, perhaps, Andriy Shevchenko will allow him to come. He is my old friend, but we are still talking on the phone.

- What can you say about the situation with the national team's playlist for Euro 2020?

- In fact, we have not yet submitted a list of songs! Today the guys and I will make a list. We are all music lovers, so we will choose what we like.

- Upon arrival at the hotel you heard the National Anthem of Ukraine, saw the branding. Have you felt that this location becomes your home for a while?

- I have already passed two Euros, this is the third final tournament. I also saw the world championship. What has been done in Bucharest is no different in level from what it was before. There are certain requirements for placement, insulation. Everything is organized at the highest level, we were well received. There are no trifles in this case. All the guys are happy, we are very grateful for the reception.
