According to the results of the VI Parliamentary Cup, children from Luhansk region received a new football kit

Children from the village of Komyshuvakha, Luhansk region (10 km from the demarcation line) received football kit and balls from the organizers and sponsors of the charity match Parliamentary Cup-2021.

This event became possible due to the holding of the sixth annual charity football match Parliamentary Cup between the team of people's deputies and the team of journalists of Ukraine, which took place on June 1, 2021 in Kyiv at the Victor Bannikov Stadium.

The main goal of this project, which has already become a good annual tradition, is to help IDP children from Eastern Ukraine. It was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football, the Ukrainian Premier League and the News Center news agency.

The charity match was held under the patronage of the UAF President, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko and with the support of patron Eduard Mkrtchan.

Obolon Corporation was the water partner of the charity match.

Vitalii Tkachenko, a public figure and a representative of the Komyshuvakha community, told IA News Center that the new equipment caused children a lot of emotions.

"Residents, children and parents of Komyshuvakha village are very grateful for the football kit and balls for children. I would like to thank the organizers and sponsors of the match, as well as all those who responded to the children's requests. Thanks to such charitable assistance, children can play football not only in their community, but also perform at district and regional competitions. When the children put on the new kit, they had a spark in their eyes, they realized that dreams come true. Children know that they are cared for. We also dream of a modern big football field. We hope that this dream, like the dreams of our children, will become a reality", - Vitalii Tkachenko stressed.

It should be noted, that this is not the first charity event organized by UAF, UPL and IA News Center.

The result of the 1st Parliamentary Cup in 2016 was the construction and arrangement of rooms in the Primavera Correctional Center for children with disabilities. During the Parliamentary Cup-2017, a children's sports ground was built and opened in the village of Komyshuvakha, Popasna district, Luhansk region. According to the results of the third, fourth, fifth Parliamentary Cup, children from Eastern Ukraine received football kit and sports equipment.
