Children of Nikolaevshchina took part in the Open football lessons project

This year in the Nikolaev area two projects «Open football lessons» are realized. The first was postponed due to a pandemic in 2020 and took place in late May at the Fortuna Stadium in Berezanka. The event was organized by the Football Federation of the Berezan community together with the department of education, culture, youth and sports of the village council.

One hundred children from secondary schools, parents and physical education teachers of the Berezan community became participants in the project. The children took an active part in sports relay races with elements of a football game, as well as received practical lessons on the rules of the road while riding scooters.

Honorary guests visited the holiday: the village head Valery Khomitsky, the People's Deputy of Ukraine Artem Chernomorov, the deputy of the Nikolaev regional council and the deputy chairman of the Football Association of the Nikolaev area Alexander Balakin, the regional deputy Vladimir Pogadayev.

On June 6, the Novobuzhskaya Territorial Community joined the project, which was organized as part of the celebration of the City Day. 

Mayor Maksym Lagodienko and Deputy Chairman of the Football Association of the Mykolaiv Region Oleksandr Balakin visited the children and made welcoming speeches.

After a heated warm-up, the children divided into teams and began their acquaintance with football lessons under the guidance of experienced coaches and volunteers. 

During the project, Novobuzhsk rescuers demonstrated the capabilities of their special equipment to 20 HRDFs, which aroused the interest and admiration of children. Also in the park in front of the stadium was held a master class on tourism and the action "Graffiti on the wall".

The Open Football Lessons project has been successfully implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association and the regional association in the Mykolayiv region for more than a year. The events took place in Pervomaisk, Voznesensk, Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolayiv, Bereznehuvaty and this year in Berezanka and Novy Buh. 

Traditionally, all children participating in the project "Open football lessons" received a branded T-shirt as a gift, and schools participating in the project - sports equipment.

We remind you that for the second year in a row the format of the "Open Football Lessons" has been adapted to the norms of the anti-epidemic regime and social distancing. Thanks to the creativity of volunteers who were trained the day before, a contactless form of work was organized and the simultaneous stay of children on the playgrounds was limited.
