The calendar of matches of the first stage of the Ukrainian championship among women's teams in the major league has been approved
After processing all the proposals submitted by the clubs, the UAF women's football department approved the calendar of matches of the first stage of the Ukrainian football championship among women's teams of the major league of the 2021/2022 season.
In the first stage, all teams play matches in one round according to the approved calendar. Sports indicators obtained in the first stage are preserved.
According to the results of the first stage, depending on the places in the standings, two groups of six teams are formed, which play two more rounds (at home / away) according to the approved calendar:
Group 1 (places from the first to the sixth) - determine the champion and prize-winners of the major league, as well as the team that will participate in the UEFA Women's Champions League-2022/2023;
group 2 (places from the seventh to the 12th) - determine the teams that will leave the top league.
Following the results of the championship of Ukraine in the top league of a season-2021/2022 the teams which will occupy the 11th and 12th places, pass to the first league. The team that finishes 10th plays two transition matches with the team that will take third place in the first league.
Participants Championship of Ukraine among women's teams in the top league: Zhytlobud-1 (Kharkiv), Zhytlobud-2 (Kharkiv), Voskhod (Stara Mayachka), Karpaty (Lviv), Ateks (Kyiv), Kolos (Kovalivka), Ladomyr (Volodymyr-Volynskyi), Mariupol, Bukovynska Nadiya (Velykyi Kuchuriv), Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih), EMS-Podillya (Vinnytsia), and Panthers (Uman).
