Andrii Pavelko: Vorskla Sports Complex is a real gem of Poltava football region

President of the Ukrainian Association of Football, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko, as well as the UAF first vice-presidents Oleh Protasov, Anatolii Demyanenko, Oleksii Mykhailychenko and Alan Pliev at the invitation of the Poltava Region Football Association and Vorskla Football Club took part in the opening of the stadium in Poltava.

In fact, this is the first stage of construction of a modern sports complex, which includes a full-size field measuring 105 by 68 meters with artificial turf of the latest generation, a stand for 500 seats and comfortable locker rooms. All this can already be used by young Vorskla players.

There is already a project of the second stage of construction of the complex, which includes games, warm-up and gym, as well as additional locker rooms.

"This complex is a real gem of Poltava football. Young Poltava footballers got a great opportunity to improve their skills. I am grateful to the honorary president of Vorskla Kostyantyn Zhevago! His contribution to the development of football in the region is difficult to overestimate.

I would also like to thank the president of Vorskla Roman Chernyak and the vice-president of the club Oleh Lysak, the chairman of the Football Association of Poltava region Valerii Holovko, the leaders of the city and region for the development of Poltava football.

Taking the opportunity, we talked with representatives of Poltava region about the improvement of football infrastructure, in particular, in the Vorskla sports complex, as well as in the region as a whole, about the prospects of children's and youth football. They also talked with the management of the Poltava club about the future reconstruction of the O. Butovskyi Vorskla stadium. The club has ambitious plans, and it can't help but rejoice", - Andrii Pavelko said in Poltava.

During the opening of the stadium, the representatives of Poltava region were presented UAF awards, and representatives of schools in the region received balls from the Ukrainian Association of Football and the Football Association of Poltava region.
