Kovalivskyi Kolos started its performance in the League of Conferences on a home draw with Karaganda's Shakhtar.

The fourth team of the last UPL started the second European Cup season in its history with a home match against Kazakhstan.

The beginning of the match was a struggle, and in the second half of the first half there were dangerous moments. Volynets rescued after hitting Bukorats from several meters. Kovalivtsi responded with a powerful but inaccurate shot from Chernomorets from afar. Until the end of the starting 45 minutes, the Kolos goalkeeper made several more saves.

After the break, Volynets had to enter the game again after a long shot. Later, Kolos seized the initiative, but the hosts lacked accuracy. In the 73rd minute, the Brazilian Diego scored from a great position, but the ball did not hit the far corner.

At the end of the match, Shakhtar remained in the minority after Atanaskoski's second yellow card, but the hosts failed to realize their numerical advantage. Therefore, the fate of the confrontation will be decided in the return match, which will take place in Nur Sultan on August 10.
