Ukrainian Women's Championship. Two clubs refused to participate in the competition
Two teams of the top and first leagues of the Ukrainian Women's Football Championship stated that it was impossible to participate in the competition.
A new season in the major league started last week, and representatives of the first league will start their performances on August 14. Unfortunately, not all teams are ready to start, the Ukrainian Women's Football Association reports.
The UAF Women's Football Department has received two letters refusing to participate in the All-Ukrainian football competitions among women's clubs. The first to announce this was the debutant of the first league, the capital's club "Unity". As a result, there are currently nine teams left in Group A.
And from top division this season he lost one participant from Chernivtsi region. Due to financial difficulties, FC Bukovynska Nadiya (Velykyi Kuchuriv) will stop playing.
Nevertheless, the championship system and calendar of championships remain unchanged. Teams that had to play with the teams that withdrew from the competition will have a day off in the respective round.
