A new football field for little patriots has been opened in Kyiv's Troieschyna
August 24 in Kiev at st. Zakrevskoho, 35a was opened a football field, built with the assistance of the Ukrainian Football Association. During Euro 2020, a video appeared on domestic social networks, in which young football players perform the National Anthem of Ukraine before playing on the old playground in their yard.
"The boys fell in love with the whole country, impressing with their independence and sincerity. At the same time, at the beginning of July, at my invitation, the young footballers visited the Football House and received a promise that soon on the site of their old field will be modern.

A little more than a month has passed - and a new football field with a safe artificial surface of the best European quality from a Ukrainian manufacturer has been opened! The dream of young players to train in decent conditions came true on the day of celebrating the independence of our country, "- said at the opening of the President of the UAF, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko.

The opening ceremony was attended by the first vice-presidents of the Ukrainian Football Association Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, Alan Pliev, Vadym Kostyuchenko, co-chairman of the UAF National Teams Committee Oleh Blokhin, head coach of the U-18 youth national team of Ukraine Serhiy Nagornyak, and national team players Oleksandr Syro Ilya Zabarny.

It will be recalled that the football infrastructure has been renewed in Ukraine in recent years at the initiative of the UAF. About 2500 playgrounds and about 100 football fields have been built and reconstructed in the country.

"We do not stop, but will continue to build such sites for the future of Ukrainian boys and girls. For this purpose in Ukraine the modern plant on production of an artificial football covering is created, and such platform has to be in each yard. After all, they are not born stellar football players and players of the national team. They are the same guys from Troieschyna, Darnytsia, Zhytomyr and Dnipro, whose dreams and ambitious plans require proper conditions for sports development, "said Andriy Pavelko.
