The second rival of Kyiv in the current Champions League was the best club in Germany in recent years, the super-powerful "Bavaria", which this fall in any of the tournaments in less than three goals in the match does not score.

The starting minutes confirmed the assumption that Kyiv will have to act mostly without the ball. It was even harder to do this without the injured Buyalsky, whose absence Mircea Lucescu called a big loss at the pre-match press conference. However, the first dangerous blow to the goal was struck by Dynamo. In response, Munich launched an attack with a blow from Lewandowski under the crossbar - Bushchan made a save, but after a corner hand played Sidorchuk, and the same Lewandowski from the penalty spot soaked the score.

The Germans were in no hurry to develop their success, keeping the game under control and acting at a mediocre pace. Lucescu's charges were waiting for an opportunity to organize a counterattack, because there was plenty of space in the middle of the "Bavarian" field. But in the absence of a speed forward, this technique did not work, and the next pruning, this time Andrievsky, led to an instant counterattack, which allowed Lewandowski to make a double.

Predominating rivals in all components, the hosts calmly played the game, periodically bombing the gates of Bushchan from different distances. Sana hit the post, and shortly before the break, Kyiv could score, who once still built a quality counterattack, but where Pena did not beat Noyer.

The dominance of the German champions continued after the break. Occasionally there were outbreaks in Dynamo when it was possible to reach the home team's penalty area, but these episodes did not develop. And one of the attempts to attack a large group of players led to a counterattack and a goal by Gnabri. In addition, Sane from the flank threw the ball behind Bushchan's collar, and Chupo-Moting scored from the second floor. In the end, the final victory of "Bavaria" turned out to be convincing both in terms of score (5: 0) and in terms of content.
