A match between the legends of FC Dnipro and the national team of Ukraine took place in Dnipro

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence and on the initiative of the President of the UAF, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko, a friendly match of football legends of Ukraine took place in Dnipro.

On this day, the teams of veterans of FC Dnipro and the national team, which included many outstanding football players of Ukraine, came to the Dnipro-Arena field, giving bright emotions and historical victories to millions of fans in different years.

Before the match, Andriy Pavelko addressed the participants of the festive event, thanking the veterans for their contribution to the development of football in our country and unforgettable moments of victories, which they gave to millions of spectators in Ukraine and around the world. "It is a great honor for me to be here, on the same field with the real legends of Ukrainian football, who have dedicated their lives to this wonderful game. I sincerely wish you good health, and new great victories and achievements to the football Dnipro and all of Ukraine! ” - said the president of UAF.

Before the match, its participants and honored guests took part in a symbolic action - took a joint photo with a portrait of a 10-year-old pupil of the Moscow State Youth Sports School Yegor Holovaty, who died tragically. This was the request of his mother, who said that the boy lived football and dreamed of being photographed with the national team.

Then the first shot on the ball after the starting whistle was scored by Andriy Pavelko, and the teams started a very rich and rich in sharp moments game. This is evidenced by as many as eight goals scored, which the opponents divided equally - 4: 4.

After the final whistle, football legends thanked the fans who came to support them that day, talked and gave them balls, T-shirts and other autographed souvenirs.
