"Winter Championship-2022": 12 women's clubs learned the names of their rivals in the anniversary tournament

The draw of the 10th anniversary draw of the All-Ukrainian football tournament "Winter Championship" among women's clubs took place in the Football House.

For the first time in the history of the competition will be held in the city of Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) in the period from 1 to 5 February 2022. According to the regulations of the tournament, its participants will be 12 clubs from the top and first leagues, which this season are participating in the Cup of Ukraine (except for teams that were excluded from the competition). Also, according to the approved action plan of the club, Kharkiv's Zhytlobud-1 will not take part in the tournament.

The tournament calendar will be announced later.

The tournament will be held in two stages.

The first stage: clubs are divided by lot into four groups of three teams and play in a circle system in one circle (3-1, 2-3, 1-2).

Second stage: playoff matches.

The match lasts two halves of 30 minutes each. Team places are determined by the sum of points scored in all matches. If the main time ends with a draw, no additional time is assigned. The winner of the match is determined in a series of post-match penalties. 3 points are awarded for a victory, 0 for a defeat, 2 for a victory in a series of post-match penalties, and 1 for a defeat in a series of post-match penalties.
