The national football team of Ukraine became the champion of the 2021 Deaflympics, which were postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic and which took place in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul.

Following the results of the group stage, the national team of Ukraine took the first place in its quintet, and then in the quarterfinals beat Italy (2: 1). On May 12, in the semifinal match, the blue and yellows defeated Turkey - 2: 0, and today in the decisive match they defeated France - 1: 0.
