Today the national team of Ukraine left Brdo, where it trained for a whole month. During this time, the staff of the Elegance Hotel and the staff of the Football Association of Slovenia have become reliable friends for the Blue and Yellows, helping and assisting their guests in everything.

Therefore, the joint photo in front of the hotel, which has become a cozy home for Ukrainians for 30 days, is a logical symbol of well-coordinated teamwork for a long time. Because hotel managers, administrators, chefs and employees of the training center have become, without exaggeration, an integral part of our team here in Slovenia, constantly inspiring guys with their sincere smiles, words of support and faith in Ukraine and at the same time highly professional. work.

Elegance General Manager Marian Gribar admitted that he simply could not express his pride in the fact that the national team of Ukraine chose this hotel to prepare: “We will wholeheartedly support you during the matches in Glasgow and, we believe, in Cardiff. But we have prepared this gift for you for a good occasion after the match in Wales. "

The impressive size of a bottle of champagne team administrators, for obvious reasons, so far postponed for years. Instead, with gratitude for the service and support, the hotel was presented with a T-shirt with the autographs of all players and the head coach.

The morning training took place in sunny weather. After a rainy weekend, the clouds over Brdo parted, and the weather returned to the park, which can be called normal for May. Today's lesson was in fact a dress rehearsal for the match with the Scots, because there is one more official training - on the field of Hampden Park Stadium.

After warming up and squares, the team honed elements of the tactical model of the game that the coaching staff and players worked on during the final leg of the training camp. 24 performers took part in the lesson. Denis Popov completed his rehabilitation program today and has already worked with the balls - so far individually, but tomorrow the defender must return to the general group.

In the afternoon, the Ukrainian national team left for Ljubljana Airport, from where a charter flight to Glasgow was scheduled for 16.45 Central European Time. All 25 players present at the training camp flew to Scotland. Andriy Lunin will join the team today at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where the Blue and Yellows lived last summer during the Euro, and this time they will stay for the next three days.

Tomorrow in the program of Ukrainians in Glasgow - the official pre-match training at "Hampden Park" (beginning - at 19.00 local time). Half an hour before that, Oleksandr Petrakov and the player of the national team will meet with representatives of the mass media in the conference hall of the arena. Ukrainian media that will not be able to come to Glasgow will be able to ask their questions via Zoom (the link will be posted on the UAF media channel).
