The men's student futsal team of Ukraine at the World Cup got into group B, where they defeated Slovakia (4:1), conceded to Brazil (3:6) and beat Oman (9:0).
Having taken the second place in their quartet, the blue-yellow team went to Poland in the quarter-finals and defeated it 7:0.
Today, in the semi-finals, our boys played against the host of the championship, Portugal, and won in a penalty shootout — 3:1 (regular time — 2:2). Tomorrow, the Ukrainians will compete in the final with the Brazilian team.
