Andriy Pavelko presented Oleg Blokhin with the "Legend of Ukrainian Football" order
On the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Football Day and for his historic contribution to the development of Ukrainian football, the winner of the "Golden Ball"-1975 and ex-coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleg Blokhin received the "Legend of Ukrainian Football" order from the hands of Andriy Pavelek.
Oleg Blokhin continues to share his experience and knowledge for the sake of new achievements of domestic football. We will remind you that Oleg Volodymyrovych works as the co-chairman of the Committee of National Teams of the UAF and the Council of Strategic Development of Professional Football of the UAF.
"I am grateful to the Ukrainian Football Association and personally to Andrii Pavelko for the recognition and high evaluation of my work! Football relies on the connection of generations and their achievements, which are an incentive for young people and very young fans of the game. I am proud of the fact that I represent the Ukrainian football school, that I had the opportunity to glorify Ukrainian football at the highest international level. I am also grateful to the UAF and its management for the opportunity to continue their work for the development of our football. This is especially valuable for me in such an extremely difficult time of trials for our country," said Oleg Blokhin after receiving the award.

He is one of the three Ukrainian winners of the highest individual award in football and the first representative of Ukraine to receive it, forever inscribing his name in the history of world football. Many generations of Ukrainian players grew up on his bright style of play, on the goals and emotions that Blokhin's football gave. And his success at the head of the national team in the final part of the 2006 World Cup remains a powerful motivation for many coaches. We are proud of the legend of Ukrainian football!"
