Regarding the use of the VAR system in matches of the championship of Ukraine
In connection with numerous appeals from the mass media regarding the use of the VAR system in matches of the championship of Ukraine, we inform you.
The criteria, conditions and procedure for determining matches for the application of the VAR system are regulated "Regulations on the procedure for applying the VAR system in football competitions among professional teams for the 2022/2023 competitive season".
The number of matches with VAR in the UPL can be found out on the UAF website by looking appointment.
As of today, VAR has been appointed for 30 UPL matches by the UAF Commission. Of them, 26 were at the expense of the UAF, and four were at the request and at the expense of the clubs. He ordered FC "Kryvbas" (Kryvyi Rih) three times in the 15th, 17th and 25th rounds. FC "Veres" (Rivne) ordered one match in the 19th round.
In the PFL, VAR has been appointed for six matches so far, and all the orders have been made by the first league clubs. Among them are the following matches: "Karpaty" - "Polyssia" (27.11.2022), "LNZ" - "Epicenter" (14.04.2023), "Polyssia" - "Obolon" (23.04.2023), "LNZ" - " Polissya" (01.05.2023/06.05.2023/14.05.2023), "LNZ" - "Niva" (XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX), "Polissya" - "Kremin" (XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX).
