UAF held sports events under the FIFA program "Search and Development of Young Talents" in Lviv Oblast

Slavska Territorial Community became the first in Lviv Oblast and the fourth in Ukraine, where the Ukrainian Football Association implemented the FIFA program "Search and Development of Young Talents".

Last week, UAF, with the support of Slavska village council, PFC "Lviv" and the gas station chain "OKKO", conducted testing for children from 16 local schools. 600 boys and girls aged from seven to 12 took part in the three-day football tests.

Children long jumped from a place, ran with and without a ball at a distance of 10, 20 and 30 m. There were also two interesting tests, "Illinois" and "Smart Goals", to test coordination and running abilities.

Based on the results of the tests, the national association calculates a single indicator for all participants and enters the data into the single Football-Test Online platform. The most capable young football players are offered for recruitment by the local youth academy, where the FIFA talent development program is implemented.

"Not everyone will become a professional football player, but the main thing is that our children love football and have the opportunity to participate in their favorite game. And the game also helps our children not to think about war in these difficult times. Seeing those happy faces is worth it!” - notes the first vice-president of UAF Oleksiy Mykhailychenko.

The second part of the project is the training of physical education teachers and trainers. They received "D-diploma" licenses from Oleksiy Mykhailichenko and Vadym Kostyuchenko. And the honored guests of the event awarded the children with medals and certificates commemorating the sports holiday.

By the end of the year, the UAF plans to hold 20 more such events. Within the framework of the first phase of the pilot project, in April, the UAF already conducted testing of children and training of trainers in Kuyalnytsky OTG (city of Podilsk, Odesa region), Kivertsivsk OTG (city of Kivertsy, Volyn region) and Rivne OTG (Rivne village, Volyn region) .), which was joined by about 1 people.
