The fourth team of the UPL preliminary draw, Dynamo Kyiv, made its debut in the Conference League with an away game of the third qualifying round against the Greek Aris, which took place in Thessaloniki.

In the first half, the home team dominated the moments, made several inaccurate shots, but they really had a scoring chance only in the 24th minute, when after a mistake by the Ukrainians in defense, Moberg-Karlsson hit Dubinchak. In general, there was more struggle and emotions on the field.

In the second half, the teams played evenly for a long time. However, in the 65th minute, "Aris" created a moment again - Bushchan came to the rescue after Darida's header from a few meters away. However, the Greeks soon earned a penalty and Palma opened the scoring in the match.

Dynamo had a chance to win back in the 75th minute, but after a great combination, Shaparenko shot near the post. At the end of the match, Yarmolenko found himself in a striking position in the penalty area, but "Aris" saved the goalkeeper. It is also worth noting Bushchan's save in stoppage time after Menendez's shot. So, in the end, the Greeks managed to keep the winning score — 1:0.
