Women's Champions League. The competitive schedule of the tournament in the 2024/2025 season has been determined
Women's Champions League 2024/2025 will be the last draw of the tournament with group stage with matches at home and away according to the round-robin system, because it will work in the 2025/2026 season new format competitions among women's clubs.
Conducting system
The main stage of the competition is the group stage with the participation of 16 clubs. The teams will be divided into four quartets, in which they will play each other at home and away from October to December.
The winners of the first two places will receive tickets to the 1/4 finals. In the quarter-finals and semi-finals, the teams will play two matches each, the final will consist of one match and will be held in Lisbon, Portugal.
Four teams will receive direct tickets to the group stage, and the winners of the remaining 12 places will be determined by qualifying within the Champions' Path (seven places) and the Leagues' Path (five places).
Qualification in both ways will be the same. In the first round, the teams will compete in the format of mini-tournaments, the winners of which will advance. In the second round, the participants will be divided into pairs and will play each other home and away.
Number of clubs from each association
The list of participants is based on the UEFA women's club rating of associations at the end of the 2022/2023 season, where Ukraine took it 14th step.
The top 6 ranking associations - France, Germany, Spain, England, Italy and Sweden - will field three teams each.
The next 10 associations are the Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Austria, Ukraine, Iceland, Belarus - two teams are delegated each.
Other associations will be represented by one team.
Stages from which teams will start the tournament
The winner of the 2024 Champions League and the champions of the three best associations (France, Germany and Spain) will immediately enter the group stage. If the champions of France, Germany or Spain have already qualified as title holders, then the place in the group stage will automatically go to the fourth association (England).
The champions of other associations will enter the Path of Champions in the qualifiers. Association champions ranked from fifth to seventh (Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic) will start the tournament from the second round, the rest, including the representative of Ukraine, from the first (or from the previous one, if necessary).
The vice-champions of the six strongest associations (France, Germany, Spain, England, Italy and Sweden) will start the tournament with the second round of the Path of League Representatives.
The holders of the third places of these six associations, as well as the holders of the second places of the following 10 associations (Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Austria, Ukraine, Iceland, Belarus) will compete from the first round of the Path of League Representatives.

Note that in the 2023/2024 season, two clubs from our country took part in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time. "Vorskla" reached the second round, where could not resist in front of the Italian "Roma", and "Kryvbas" finished their performances in the first round, where they lost to the French "Paris" in Group 3 of the Path of representatives of the leagues (0:4) and the Swedish "Linchöping" (0:3).
