"To add more protection, we're adding more capabilities to our mobile fire teams." Address of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, addressed the nation, talking about the first meeting of the Headquarters with the participation of new military commanders and about the preparations for the Munich Security Conference.

"I wish you health, dear Ukrainian men and women!

He held the first meeting of the Stavka today with the participation of new military commanders. Chief of Staff Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych — together with the commanders of the areas. They reported on the situation at the front. Kupyan direction, Lymansky, Bakhmutsky. Of course, Avdiivka. Mariinsky direction, Zaporozhye direction. A separate report on our actions in the south, in particular in the Kherson region.

There was a detailed report on the protection of critical infrastructure — energy, heat supply facilities, water supply. Everything that is a constant target for Russian missiles and drones. To add more protection, we add more power, more capabilities to our mobile fire teams. Let's increase the number of such groups. They are one of the foundations of our defense against Russian terror, and I am grateful to all who serve in, train and assist Mobile Fire Teams.

As always, today at Stavka there was a report on the provision of all our units: shells, drones, EW. Anyone in Ukraine who can produce effective electronic warfare systems deserves full state support at all levels: both at the central level, from the government, and in every region where there is such potential. I am grateful to all representatives, in particular, of local authorities and every Ukrainian entrepreneur, all Ukrainian developers who are developing such production - EW systems.

I spoke today with President Ramaphosa, the head of the Republic of South Africa. First of all, about our global efforts to return a real, just peace to Ukraine. It is the kind of peace that every people deserves and for which Ukraine proposed the Peace Formula. Ten points that cover all aspects of Russian aggression against our country. I thanked President Ramaphosa for the participation of the representative of the Republic of South Africa in the meetings of the advisers on the Peace Formula. He told about our agreement and joint work with Switzerland regarding the organization of the Global Peace Summit. And we agreed to continue to maintain a sufficient level of cooperation to bring a just peace closer and to make global efforts productive. Africa must be represented in all global processes.

And one more.

I held a long meeting today regarding the preparation of our international work in February. In particular, we are preparing for the Munich Security Conference — an important not only European, but also global platform. Ukraine will present its vision this year. And in many respects this is a decisive year - those prospects that all of us, all free nations have, and which definitely should not be lost. Collaboration matters. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who realizes this, to everyone who helps, to every leader, to every state, who want an honest peace as much as Ukrainians do.

Glory to all those who preserved and protect Ukraine! Glory to all who fight for our country and people!

Glory to Ukraine!"
