WU-17: Ukraine relegated to League B based on the results of the second round of Euro-2024 qualifying
Today, on March 20, the Ukrainian women's national team WU-17 played the final match of the second round of Euro-2024 qualifying in the A League in the Netherlands.
After defeats against Netherlands (0:4) and Spain (0:2) the main task of the blue-yellow team was to keep their registration in League A. For this, in today's match with Turkey, a draw was enough for Serhiy Sapronov's wards. The game took place in the city of Gravenzande at the Sportpark Juliana.
Unfortunately, the fate of the match was decided by the only goal of the Turkish women in the second half — 1:0. Thus, the national team of Ukraine WU-17 took the last place in the group and was eliminated from League B of the next cycle, Euro-2025.
