Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Odessa Chornomorets in the semi-final match of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine for the 2023/2024 season in Lviv.

The teams exchanged goals quite quickly. In the 12th minute, Sudakov entered the penalty area and shot, and Sikan opened the scoring. Subsequently, during the attack of "Chornomorets", the ball bounced to Stogrin, who fired a shot at Riznyk's goal.

Towards the end of the half, Shakhtar pressed the opponents. First, Bondarenko aimed at the post, and then he converted a penalty for Saluk's foul on Eginalda.

At the beginning of the second half of the game, Sudakov increased the advantage of the miners, passing the ball through half of the field and hitting the far corner. Soon, Eginalda missed a good moment, later "Chernomorets" made several good attacks.

In the 79th minute, Sudakov received a pass from Traore, passed the ball, shook the opponent and scored a double, thus eliminating all questions. So in the end - 4:1, and the people of Donetsk are on their way to the final of the Cup of Ukraine, which they have already won 13 times.

As part of Shakhtar, the players who were called up for the national team's March training camp were on the field: Matvienko, Konoplya, Bondar, Sudakov (two goals, an assist, substituted in the 81st minute), Sikan (goal, substituted in the 69th minute ), Zubkov (substituted in the 69th minute).
