The leadership of the UAF, NOC and NADC discussed the preparation of the Olympic football team of Ukraine for the 2024 Games in Paris
The leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the National Anti-Doping Center discussed the main issues of preparing the Olympic football team of Ukraine for the 2024 Games.
There are 2024 days left until the opening of the 101 Olympic Games in Paris. The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzait, organized an important meeting regarding preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games. It was attended by UAF President Andriy Shevchenko, UAF Vice President Oleksandr Shevchenko and UAF General Secretary Ihor Hryshchenko.

The leadership of the NOC, UAF and NADC discussed the main issues of preparation for the Games, the peculiarities of the formation of the Ukrainian national football team and cooperation with the country's football clubs, the holding of educational and training meetings, compliance with anti-doping rules and logistical and transport support of the team.
During the meeting, the UAF and the NOC signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Note that last summer, after defeating France (3:1) in the quarter-finals of Euro-2023 (U-21) and having won a ticket to the semi-finals, the youth national team of Ukraine achieved a historic success — it won for the country the right to perform at the football tournament of the Olympics for the first time.
According the results of the draw Ruslan Rotan's wards got into group B together with the national teams of Argentina, Morocco and the third team of Asia.

The format of the Olympic tournament is traditional: competition in four groups of four teams, the two strongest advance to the playoffs, then there are quarterfinals, semifinals, a match for third place and the final (August 9, Paris, Parc des Princes).
