The Assembly of UAF regions held a meeting in the capital's House of Football

A meeting of the Assembly of UAF Regions took place in the House of Football. We will remind that its creation was initiated by the president of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko.

"The assembly of regions should become a platform for communication between regional associations and the UAF and will prepare proposals for further approval by the executive committee on issues related to the development of football in the regions," Andriy Shevchenko noted.

On the the previous meeting On March 18, the Council of the Assembly of UAF Regions was elected, which included the chairman of the Zakarpattia Football Association Ivan Duran, the chairman of the Kirovohrad Regional Football Association Viktor Bezsmertny and the first deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Football Association Viktor Kovalenko.

It was under the chairmanship of Ivan Duran that the meeting of the Assembly of Regions took place on April 17, in which, in addition to the heads of regional associations, the President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko, First Vice-President Pavlo Boychuk, Vice-President Oleksandr Shevchenko, General Secretary Ihor Hryshchenko and representatives of the Committee of Arbitrators of the UAF took part led by Kateryna Monzul.

During the meeting, those present discussed in particular the format, terms and regulations of the Champions Cup of Ukraine, in which the winners of the regional competitions should participate.

Also, those present talked about the principles of forming lists of children who suffered from military operations, for recreation in sports camps abroad.

There was a long discussion about the interaction of regional associations with the committee of arbitrators, in particular, in the formation of lists of arbitrators to serve competitions under the auspices of the UAF.

The participants of the Assembly of Regions were also informed about the proposals of the children's and youth football committee to improve the control over the holding of children's and youth tournaments in the regions, as well as about the initiative to create the Association of Children's and Youth Coaches. It was also agreed to cooperate in determining the mechanisms of certification of children's and youth football schools of all forms of ownership and to encourage coaches to train football players at a young age.

In addition, members of the Assembly of Regions identified four candidates for delegation to the UAF Football Development Committee. They were Yaroslav Derevyanko (Football Association of Dnipropetrovsk Region), Dmytro Syerogodskyi (Odesa Regional Football Association), Vitaly Mokienko (Zaporizhia Regional Football Association) and Dmytro Andrieshyn (Football Association of Ternopil Oblast).
