The leadership of the PFU met with servicemen of the Presidential Regiment

On May 25, FFU First Vice President Vadym Kostyuchenko met with servicemen of the Presidential Regiment of Kyiv at the Football House.

The team of the military garrison of Kyiv will take part in this tournament for the first time and will compete for the trophy with the teams of the military garrisons of Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, Ljubljana and Budapest.

Vadym Kostyuchenko, who handed over football equipment to Ukrainian soldiers from the Football Federation, wished the team success at international competitions: “I convey congratulations from FFU President Andriy Pavelko and head coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko. I am very pleased that there is such an opportunity - to present you the uniform of the national team, so that you represent Ukraine in international competitions and be sure to return home with a victory. FFU holds football competitions among servicemen, and we will continue to support our soldiers. Finally, I want to invite you to the matches of the national teams of Ukraine and for this I also give you a certificate for tickets.

In turn, Viktor Plakhtiy, the military commander of the city of Kyiv, thanked the FFU leadership for their support: “I would like to thank the Football Federation of Ukraine for its constant support of servicemen. For the first time, our team will take part in this tournament, where seven more teams representing military garrisons from Central Europe will also compete. I am sure that our players will make every effort to bring home victory. "
