Andriy Shevchenko: "Raul Riancho leaves coaching staff of Ukraine national team"
Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko gave an exclusive comment on the site of the FFU, in which he summarized the last meeting of the national team.
- We conducted a high-quality training camp, this time with the team allowed us to check a large group of players, - said Andriy Mykolayovych. - It is a pity for those who did not take part in classes and matches due to injuries. However, a lot of information, we had the opportunity to analyze it. For two games we tried different combinations, combinations of performers in the center of the field. Not all the guys arrived in the same condition, it was felt. However, everyone had a great desire to gain a foothold in the team, to show themselves to the coaches.
This time I set a specific task for the players - the result. We need to be able to play for the result! Official matches are already ahead. In the fall we will start in a new tournament, the League of Nations, there will be no time for experiments. I think that in September the physical condition of football players will be better, it will be almost the middle of next season. We worked with a view to the fall.
I would also like to inform you that one of our coaches, Raul Riancho, has stopped cooperating with the national team of Ukraine. He leaves the team. We are very grateful to Raoul for his work and wish him success in the future.
