Zhytlobud-1 meets rivals in the home selection round of the Women's Champions League
Today in the Swiss Nyon held the draw of the qualifying round of the Women's Champions League season-2018/2019.
60 clubs representing 48 national associations will take part in the tournament. 20 teams received a direct ticket to the 1/16 finals. These are the representatives of the eight highest rated associations (two clubs each), as well as the champions of the countries that rank in the ranking from 9th to 12th.
The remaining 12 1st / 16th participants will be selected in the selection round, which will take place from 7th to 13th August in the fields of 10 clubs. 40 teams were broken into fours, and the winners of the playoff stages will receive the winners of the groups and the two best teams that will take second place.
As you know, one of the hosts of the qualifying tournament will be the champion of Ukraine - Kharkiv "Zhytlobud-1". According to the results of the draw, Romanian "Olympia Cluj", Welsh "Cardiff Met" and Maltese "Birkirkara" will come to Ukraine to compete with our team.
The final of the Women's Champions League will take place on May 18, 2019 at the Ferencvaros Stadium in Budapest.
