Andrey Pavelko and Vadim Sviridenko launch new football projects for ATO veterans

On Monday, July 16, at the Football House, the President of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko and the Presidential Commissioner for Rehabilitation of ATO Participants, Chairman of the National Council for Sports Rehabilitation of Defenders of Ukraine Vadym Svyridenko signed a cooperation agreement between the Football Federation of Ukraine and the National Council of Sports Rehabilitation .

According to the agreement, the main areas of cooperation between the parties are the launch, development and support of new project programs for sports rehabilitation of combatants injured, contusions, injuries and other diseases, holding annual Ukrainian football championships, Undefeated Cup, futsal championships. national level, as well as the preparation of national teams for participation in international football tournaments for the relevant category of veterans.

Projects on sports rehabilitation aim to develop systems of adaptation to the peaceful life of defenders of Ukraine, who received various injuries during their participation in hostilities.

"First of all, I want to thank FFU President Andriy Pavelko for our cooperation. We have already held one tournament - the Cup of the Unconquered. The project caused a lot of positive: when the boys played, we saw their emotions and condition after the competition. Even those who played on crutches had burning eyes. After that, we decided that we needed to continue our work. Signing this document is very important - it will give us both the expansion of domestic competitions and the opportunity to participate in international matches and tournaments. I repeat, this cooperation is very important for the participants of the anti-terrorist operation who were injured, "Vadym Svyridenko commented on the signing of the document.

"It is a great honor for the football federation to sign this agreement, because our warrior-heroes who defend Ukraine need our support. And it is the game of football that gives them unique emotions, a sense of sports excitement, team spirit. I also support Mr. Vadym's idea that we need to train for the first year, and in the near future we will offer international meetings so that the whole world knows about our heroes, "FFU President Andriy Pavelko said in his speech.
