Program of October gathering of national team of Ukraine: Kyiv - Genoa - Kharkiv
The national team of Ukraine will start its second training camp this Monday, October 8. On this day, the called players and the coaching staff will arrive in Kyiv and stay at the Alfavito Hotel, which is currently the permanent residence of the main team in the capital.
Voyage to Italy
However, this time the blue and yellows will not stay in Kyiv for a long time. Having trained on Monday evening on the field of NTK named after Bannikov, the next morning the team will go to Genoa - departure is scheduled for 12.30. For two days, Ukrainians will stay in the Genoese Grand Hotel Savoia. In the evening of October 9, our team will have pre-match events at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium: a press conference of head coach Andriy Shevchenko and one of the team's players (starting at 18.45) and training at the mentioned arena (starting at 19.15 European time).
From Genoa to Kharkiv
After a friendly match with the Italian national team, which will begin on October 10 at 20.45 European time, our team will return to the hotel. Departure home is scheduled for the next morning (10.30). After a three-hour flight, the team expects to arrive in Kharkiv, where they will traditionally stay at the Superior Golf & Spa Resort. That same evening, the blue and yellows will hold an evening training session at the Sunny Stadium, not far from the mentioned resort.
Open Day
On October 12, the national team of Ukraine organizes an Open Day. An open training session will start at 18.00 pm at the Metalist Stadium, which will be preceded by a press conference of the head coach (in the conference hall of the arena). The ardent support of the fans on the eve of important matches is a continuation of the pleasant tradition of the main team. So the collections sincerely invite their fans to be with them tonight.
The importance of the Twelfth Player
Of course, this invitation is also relevant for the match itself, which will take place four days after the open training. Footballers and coaches are convinced that new victories are possible only together with the Twelfth Player. Moreover, after serving the sentence in the previous home match, the blue and yellows significantly lack native support, because the last time Ukraine played with its audience in an official match was exactly a year ago!
The day before the game
On October 15, the day before the match against the Czech team, the national team of Ukraine will hold another training session at USC Metalist - pre-match, which will begin at 19.00 (the first 15 minutes of classes will be open only to the media). A little earlier, at 18.30 pm, head coach Andriy Shevchenko and one of the players of the national team will talk to the media in the format of a press conference.
October 16 - the final and main event of the October training camp - the UEFA League of Nations match against the Czech national team, which will begin at 21.45 Ukrainian time. The Ukrainian team is sure that this cool autumn evening will definitely not go to its goal alone.
