Premier League: Tsigankov's hat trick at the Carpathians goal, Zorya and Vorskla wins

In three matches of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Championship, which took place on Saturday, two victories were recorded with a big score and a minimal road trip. The point suppliers were the teams that occupy the last three rows in the table.    

Dynamo in Lviv took revenge for defeat from Karpaty in the first round at their stadium. Although this time Lviv, who held the second match after the resignation of Jose Morais, created many moments, but their implementation was zero.

Kievans, on the other hand, were much more responsible for using the created opportunities. Viktor Tsygankov hit the Carpathians goal three times. The Dynamo winger scored the first goal with a direct free kick, although with a ricochet, the second - after a great diagonal pass from Shaparenko, and the third - in overtime from a pass by Duelund. Shaparenko himself, assisted by Verbych, also scored a goal.    

By the way, for Tsygankov this hat-trick became the second in the matches of the Ukrainian championship, and the first happened last year in a duel with the same "Carpathians". But then it happened in Kyiv, and the final score was 5: 0.

The reporting game was attended by players who were called to the last training camp of the main team of the country: Dynamo Boyko, Burda, Mykolenko, Shaparenko (goal, goal pass and yellow card), Tsygankov (three goals) and Lviv Swede (replaced by the 57th minutes).

A big score was also recorded in Zaporizhia, where Zorya hosted Arsenal-Kyiv. But, unlike the Lviv match, here the moments were created mostly by one team. Yuriy Vernydub's wards, thanks to three "dry" goals against the Gunners, continued their unbeaten streak to six matches, while Kyiv has not won in seven rounds.

Karavaev (goal) and Svatok, who took part in the last meeting of the national team, played the whole match for Zorya.

In another match, Vorskla minimally won away to Chornomorets, scoring the only goal at the very beginning of the match. The Poltava team has beaten Odessa in the seventh face-to-face meeting in the championships in a row since April 17, 2016.

Given that Vasyl Sachko's team has suffered three defeats in the previous three rounds of the current championship, this long-awaited success should significantly lift its spirits on the eve of leaving for Lisbon for the final match of the Europa League group tournament with Sporting.
