2019: what events await Ukrainian football in the new year
2018 has brought many clear victories to Ukrainian football. In the new 2019, new important events await the fans of our country.
February 14 and 21 Kyiv's Dynamo and Donetsk's Shakhtar will resume their performances on the international arena. Within the framework of the Europa League, Kyiv will meet in a two-match match with Greek Olympiacos, and Donetsk - with German Eintracht.
February 15 and 17 Ukraine's women's futsal team will play in the final part of Euro-2019. On the 15th, our girls will meet Portugal in the semifinals. The final and the match for the third place will take place on February 1.
February 21-23 competitions in the football championship of Ukraine will continue. In the 19th round, the match between Dynamo and Zorya will be central.
March 20-26 in Spain, the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (players born in 2002) will hold matches of the elite qualifying round for Euro-2019. Volodymyr Yezersky's wards will play against Spain, Kosovo and Greece.
In the same time, the U-19 Ukrainian national team (players born in 2000) in Italy will participate in the elite round of selection for Euro-2019. Sergei Popov's wards will meet with Italy, Serbia and Belgium.
On March 22 the national team of Ukraine will start in the selection for Euro 2020. The blue and yellows will play their first match in Group B with the Portuguese team in Lisbon. And already 25 number Andriy Shevchenko's wards will also play against Luxembourg.
April 1-9 Ukraine's youth women's national team WU-19 will play in the elite round of selection for Euro-2019. The rivals of the Ukrainian girls will be the national teams of Norway, Denmark and Northern Ireland.
From May 23 to June 15 Poland will host the final of the 2019 U-20 World Cup. Following the results of the European Championship 2018 (U-19), the national team of Ukraine will take part in it.
7 June national team will continue to fight in the selection for Euro-2020. Our team will meet with Serbia. AND 10 number Ukrainians will also take Luxembourg home.
From June 21st to June 30th in Belarus, the Ukrainian beach soccer team will take part in the ΙΙ European Games under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee.
July 19-28 Ukraine's national beach soccer team will compete in the qualifying round of the 2019 World Cup in Paraguay.
From August 26 to September 22 matches of the qualifying round of Euro-2021 among women's teams will take place. The national team of Ukraine will learn the names of its rivals during the draw on February 21 in Nyon.
September 6 Ukrainian national team (U-21) will start the qualifying tournament for Euro-2021 with a home match with Finland. Also in 2019, Ruslan Rotan's team is expecting three more fights: September 10 - with Malta (at home), October 10 - with Romania (visiting), 15 November - with Denmark (at home).
September 7 Ukraine is waiting for the fifth qualifying match for Euro 2020. Our guys will play a duel with Lithuania.
October 11 Ukrainians will continue to fight for access to the finals of Euro 2020. The guests of our team will be Lithuanians. October 14 the national team of Portugal will visit Kiev.
October 22-27 the matches of the main qualifying round for the 2020 Futsal World Cup in the European zone will take place. The national team of Ukraine will compete with the team of Slovenia and two national teams, which will be determined after the previous qualifying round.
November 13-19 the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (current U-16 - players born in 2003) will hold matches of the group stage of selection for Euro 2020 in Portugal. Oleksandr Petrakov's wards will play against Portugal, Georgia and Albania.
At the same time in Sweden, the youth national team of Ukraine U-19 (current U-18 - players born in 2001) will compete in the group round of selection for Euro 2020. Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will meet with Sweden, Slovenia and Estonia.
17 November the national team will complete the group selection tournament for Euro 2020. Andriy Shevchenko's wards will play against Serbia.
