Natalia Zinchenko: "We will do our best to challenge the Germans"

It happened in Swiss Nyon of the draw qualifying round of the European Championship 2021 among women, which was attended by the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Natalia Zinchenko. After the draw, Natalia Nikolaevna kindly agreed to comment on its results for the official FFU website:

- Of course, the clear favorite in our group is the German national team, which has been demonstrating athletic and speed football for many years, which has helped it win many titles. But, as they say, there are no invincible teams. So we will make an effort to challenge the Germans.

With our other counterparts, in my opinion, we can safely count on a positive result, if we demonstrate our best qualities, willingness to play through "I can not". Be sure to swing for second place in the group, which can also help go directly to the finals.

- With one of the competitors in the qualifying round, the national team of Montenegro, your wards can meet in a few days at international tournament in Croatia...

- This can happen under certain circumstances only in a head-to-head match, because Montenegro plays in another group. But if our paths do not cross, I will try to see this team in the case and gather comprehensive information about it.

- The national team of Ukraine goes to Croatia departs February 25 in the strongest composition?

- No, due to injuries I can't count on several leading football players yet, but the selection work continues, and I hope they will be worthy to be replaced in Croatia. In particular, I want to give a chance to prove myself to the debutant - Valentina Tarakanova from the Polish "Stomilanka". Although, I think the backbone of the team will still remain unchanged.
