The Road to London: Europe's Qualifying Tournament 2020 kicks off today

The first round of the 10 European Championship Qualifying Round will begin today with 2020 matches in four groups.

Passes to the final tournament during the selection will receive 20 national teams - two of the best from each group. Four more vacancies will be decided in the League of Nations match between March 26 and 31, 2020. The draw is scheduled for November 22, 2019.

The draw of the final of the European Championship will be held on November 30 this year in Bucharest. An additional draw procedure (if required) will take place after the end of the match - April 1, 2020.

The final part of the 16th European Championship will be held from June 12 to July 12, 2020. For the first time in history, 12 cities of the Old World (London, Baku, Munich, Rome, St. Petersburg, Amsterdam, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin and Glasgow) will host. Moreover, the place in the final of the national team is not guaranteed, but those who pass the selection screen, at least two group round matches will be held in the home stadium.

The opening match of the Euro 2020 final will take place on 12 June at Rome's Stadio Olimpico, and the final will take place on 12 July at London's Wembley.
