Ukrainian Cup. Shakhtar and Ingulets play trophy in Zaporozhye on May 15

On May 15 at the Zaporizhia stadium "Slavutych-Arena" the winner of the Cup of Ukraine of the 2018/2019 season will be determined Shakhtar and a representative of the first league - "Ingulets".

According to the draw, the nominal hosts of the field will be the miners, for whom this final will be the 19th in their history. Ingulets will play for the trophy for the first time in the decisive match. Moreover, the team from Petrov became the first representative of the second division, which managed to make it to the final of the Cup of Ukraine.

On the way to the final match, Shakhtar defeated Donetsk's Olympic (3: 2), Kyiv's Dynamo (1: 1, penalty 4: 3) and Dnipro-1 (2: 0).

In turn, "Ingulets" defeated Kovalev "Kolos" (1: 0), Gornostaev "Mir" (3: 0), "Mariupol" (3: 1), Lviv "Karpaty" (1: 1, penalty 5: 4 ) and Luhansk "Zorya" (2: 1).

We will add that in Zaporizhia the finalists will play not only a trophy, but also a ticket to the group round of the Europa League. If the winner of the competition is a club that gets the right to play in the Champions League (this may be Shakhtar), then the UPL bronze medalist will get into the main grid of the second European Cup, and the fifth elite team will start in qualifying.
