In his seventh match for the national team of Ukraine striker Roman Yaremchuk first scored a goal scored.

- The national team of Ukraine has really won an impressive victory over Serbia, whose players have recently been loudly declaring themselves in leading European clubs. How can this be explained?

- We had a very fruitful preparatory period. We studied the opponent's game in detail, determined his strengths and vulnerabilities. And that's why, first of all, it was important to just set up the coaching staff headed by Andriy Shevchenko. I think we succeeded.

- Did you accidentally dream before the match that you are finally scoring for the national team of Ukraine?

- No, but there was a feeling that I would definitely score in one of the next two matches in Lviv. Sooner or later I had to break through, because in every match I had goal moments. Taking this opportunity, I would like to mention Oleksandr Karavayev, who made a perfect transfer for me.

- How did Roman Yaremchuk's actions be assessed by his most demanding fan - his father, who was once a skilled football player?

- He praised for aiming at the goal, but said that this is a story that can not rest on its laurels, and wished not to leave the field without his goal in the next match - with Luxembourg. We are aware that after the match with Serbia they raised the bar very high, but there can be no question of any hat-throwing mood. After all, the fans will not allow us to do that on Monday. I am convinced that the match with Luxembourg will be sold out, and this will also serve as a great incentive to once again demonstrate their best qualities.
